Visiting senseis for this year seminar will be Hiro Inoue Sensei from Vancouver Canada and Wout Verschueren Sensei from Melsbroek Begium.
Hiro Inoue Sensei holds a rokudan (6th dan) in Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu. He is the vice president of the Canada Iaido Association and has been teaching Iaido at the University of British Columbia for 23 years. Please visit Hiro Sensei’s Dojo Website.

The Boston Shufukai will be hosting their 11th Goyokai Kendo Tournament. The event will be held on Saturday, November 6 and Sunday, November 7, 2010. The registration deadline is October 18, 2010.

The All Eeasterm US Kendo Federation will be conducting a promotion test on Sunday, October 24th 2010 at Kenzen Dojo for all grades through 4 dan. This promotion test is for AEUSKF 2010 members only and candidates must show proof of current rank.
The deadline for application is October 2, 2010. An application fee of $35 will be required. Applications received after the deadline will be $100. Please make checks payable to AEUSKF. Registration desk opens at 1 PM and the test starts at 2 PM.

Each year Boston Kendo Kyokai donates back to school kits for the kids at the Archdale Community Center. Please help by donating any amount you can afford. You can donate by cash, check (payable to Boston Kendo) or use the PayPal “Donate” button on the BKK Home Page.
